One of the reasons the SEC wouldn't go to a nine game conference schedule is because it would guarantee seven losses that are not guaranteed now. (Looking at last year's results, that would have cost them at least one bowl team.)

As someone who has lived in both, Kansas is not as bad as he claimed, but Alabama is for sure > Kansas.

Just because they need a game doesn't mean they are calling Kansas. They will look for quality games, not a way just to meet the rule. Most, if not all, of the teams you mention are likely the ones who pushed for the rule to start with since they were already doing it.

Sure they may not, but you and I will never know that til something is announced. And your just speculating about them being the ones who pushed for it. And all those teams you mentioned have holes to fill so to speak to meet the requirement. Leaving scheduling Kansas an option whether or not it gets to that point is another thing.

Just because a team needs to get someone on their schedule is no reason to just go assuming they are taking steps to meet that requirement. Think before you post these things!

I kid Kansas, although it it certainly one of those places you can't appreciate by driving through. I am a guy whom has willingly moved to the Dust Bowl and stayed for 5 years. In all honesty, I find the tougher the environment the more interesting the people....except for Texas.

It's pretty easy to guess/know in most cases who did what based on their existing scheduling practices. While sure we can't say for sure and it may just be "specualtion" it's not without merit.

Miss St claims to have a problem finding teams to play them.

But as for Alabama - Notre Dame counts as a Power 5 team, you guys should fill that spot if you ain't skeered.

A moment of sincerity: I'm here to exploit the expanding metro markets here in Colorado because of the steady trend here of people here pretty much still having to abandon the land like it's 1932. It's sad. We're seeing the slow death of the heartland and no one is noticing. Willie ain't here to come and raise money this time.
