If the Vikes had a QB I could see him going home.

Indy is another thought with Wayne possibly done.....he's going somewhere with a QB if he has any say in the matter.

I'm going to post his exact quote because it leaves a different feel when you hear/read his EXACT words in my opinion:

"A trade for Larry Fitzgerald will be in play this offseason in the unlikely event a deal isn't completed before Tuesday's trade deadline.

Fitzgerald's salary cap number balloons to 18M dollars next season. Arizona and Fitzgerald are going to have to figure out a restructured contract or a trade that would allow each side to go its own way with the WR finishing his career on a franchise that wins more consistently than Arizona.

But multiple league executives said Fitzgerald's future with the Cardinals is in question. Come this offseason, both will be on the clock when some believe a divorce is somewhere between possible and inevitable."

in the unlikely event a deal isn't completed before Tuesday tells me that he is gone real soon and they it is real unlikely that he will be on the team after tuesday.

In the offseason, "a source within the organization" said that they would be "completely unwilling" to trade him to a division rival. No real surprise. Just saying.

Shit. That $18mil was really going to limit what they can do, plus I think they were one of those teams that leaned so heavily on one player that it made them easier to beat the older he got and with less talented QBs.

If they sell him on a trade to a contender and a reworked contract, you could do something that makes everyone happy.

NE would be a good trade target for both sides if they can reduce his cap number. Redskins might be good too and they wouldn't be concerned about the price. Although if I'm the Cardinals I'm trying to send him to the AFC first.

I don't think it's a massive chance of NE happening now without specific rumors already. There would have to be discussions on a new deal happening already to give up the value needed. Could it get done in a day with the right talks? Absolutely. It would take quick work to make it happen this year, though. Offseason could also be a real possibility. I don't think it's a huge secret we like fitz. I personally think he's the best receiver in the league. I would love for it to happen. If it does amendola probably goes this offseason, though. That's too much money at receiver.
