It may be, but I think the overall issue here is he's being paid to represent ESPN, and does anyone reasonably think they really want a guy who seems to do nothing all day but arguing politics and insulting others on social media as their representative (which he was certainly warned about before given his prior suspension)?

He should've just taken a page out of Doug Glanville's book and stick to posting about baseball on his Twitter.
Give me a break... ESPN honored Caitlyn Jenner for the Arthur Ashe courage award last year. That network is out of touch with American values.

So if you ran a high profile company, would you want your representative doing nothing but engaging in Twitter fueds over politics all day?

There's only one logical answer to that question...

Did Schilling really not expect this to happen? I mean he was already given a second chance for doing almost the exact same thing earlier and then you do it again.

He's better off not working for a dip shit network like ESPN.

I could be enticed to watch professional bowling now w/ him as a commentator... "... the bloody finger left a verifiable tracer on that thrown curve ball for a strike Dan."

Wallace, I'd give anything to be in Portland tonight

You'd have my THC levels at OD

So only liberal points of view are okay in your opinion.
It's not about being liberal. He already had a second chance. If you have common sense you don't make the same mistake twice, especially when you are in massive debt and need a paycheck. What is he honestly hoping to accomplish by doing this? I'm guessing he's having himself a heavy drink right now wishing he could turn back time. It's not like ESPN is losing much anyway, he was a hell of a pitcher but his commentating skills consisted of making wise cracks about how pitchers are the smartest guy on the field and we should worship them. No one should be defending him.

Truly astonishing how a cancer survivor can still find room in their lives to be a colossal dick.

Good fucking riddance.

He's a fucking douchebag. I'm glad he survived his battle because the punishment for douchebag shouldn't be death but I refuse to watch a self-centered pompous ass vomit through the microphone.

Mr. Ketchupsock shoulda known better. If you're famous, you can't have an opinion on Twitter unless you blindly agree with the PC crowd.
