The only reason I got Alvarez is because I have Sanchez......alittle note came up and said Sanchez was going on the DL. Its not like I was a genius and spent lots of time researching this stuff. If I didn't own Sanchez I would have never known Alvarez was being brought up until gameday which would have been to late.

Trust me, I would prefer Sanchez was OK and Alvarez was still in the Minors.

well glad to know i wasnt completely outsmarted/outscouted. i came back home around 9 saw that alvarez was set to start and went to go grab him only to see my job cost me a tiger's start.

I already tried that path. I got beat down by micro for not being smart enough. It's not really being smart enough, it's about having the time to check every possible new starter 3,4,5 days out due to injury...

It's not genius, just time......Most of us don't have it, so therefore you pigeon hole yourself if you don't have the time. It's as simple as that, Not Einstein stuff here.

It may not be Einstein stuff exactly, but it's far from as simple as having the time. I watch guys in all my leagues pick up players. Sometimes I wonder if they even look at anything other than the fact they're starting. Just bc u don't have a lot of time doesn't mean u can't be successful. U just have to know what ur looking at, stat wise. Some folks do, some don't.

Who the fuck has time? I've worked 29 hours so far this week and its motherfuckin Tuesday Night!!! Ive barely got time to find fresh cardboard for crying out fucking loud! I do like how people simplify things to the point where they've convinced themselves they lose due to a lack of time, or a lack of desire to add/drop, or their opponents cheat, or they get a raw deal, or Choo's your own excuse. I might actually take a day off this month just so I can focus on beating the ever loving fantasy dogshit out everyone, at everything, that isn't even real. Fuck it, I might actually get serious about this shit, buy a sack of weed for the first time in nearly a year and go all out raped ape on the fantasy community at large. And don't think I won't do it. I might even give up the three months of sobriety I've got going just to get the proverbial waiver wire juices flowing.
