Maybe you've missed it, but we now have, basically, a Heisman winning QB this year. How the hell is Michigan third? They finished like 7th in the conference last year.

Who will be out for the year after the fourth game when he gets murdered with that OLine that couldn’t block a grandma with a walker. He has already been injured. Also his style does not fit Harbaugh’s style of offense.Maybe you've missed it, but we now have, basically, a Heisman winning QB this year.

He had three good games last year, that’s enough for certain Michigan fans to hand out Heismans. Can you post anything that states meeeechegan's QB is a current Heisman favorite?
The point is a conference with 4 more teams has about a 25% better chance of being able to pick a better team. You can say "your" 5 best but you get to pick from a field of 14 where as the Big 12 gets to pick it's 5 best out of a field of 10.
You're to busy trying to thump your chest to see the difference.
and the Pac would be 1-2, 11-12 and 6-7Here's a way to solve the Big vs Big conundrum:
compare the top two teams in each conference, the bottom two teams in each league, and the two teams that approximate the middle. For the 12-2 League that would be teams 1-2, 9-10, & 5-6; for the 10+4 League that would be 1-2, 13-14, & 7-8.

Still wrong. The fact that one conference has more teams will always give them an advantage. Let me use this analogy. It’s like a 6A school playing a 4A school. The larger school should have better athletes because they have a larger pool to choose from.
That is the whiniest excuse I ever heard. If you have fewer schools, that should concentrate the athletes into fewer teams. Expansion always waters down the talent, or so I've heard.
