He should sign with the raida's just to torment SanDiego as much as possible for crapping on him.

I'd welcome him to the "D".

Is Glover getting traded? Why do the lions need two high end FS's?

The real question is...... Why not?

doesn't seem like a problem having two S that are good to very good in coverage and yet both can play above average in run.

having to go against twice per yr in GB, Chico St., and now Minny/Teddy coming around (that def of theirs is scary good too) is a great way to fortify S position.

I like, @Stomp, choice of Rams McLeod who is primarily a FS.

G. Quin is very vesatile and would be a great SS that would most likely be best SS around league for coverage and still very good in box type too.

51. Rodney McLeod -- 25. Undersized (5'10/186) but was top-ten safety at PFF.

He gone to Schwartzville

Eagles agreed to terms with S Rodney McLeod, formerly of the Rams, on a five-year, $37 million contract.
The deal includes $17 million guaranteed. It's a huge haul for someone who arguably wasn't even one of the three best safeties available. McLeod is coming off a breakout 2015, however, and is still only 26 (in June). He's forced 12 turnovers the past three seasons and was PFF's No. 10 overall safety last year. The Eagles needed to remake their secondary, and this is a good second step after dumping Byron Maxwell. McLeod will form an excellent tandem with Malcolm Jenkins.

Still out there and I read four teams talking to him, but not the Lions. Can you carry 8 safeties on the roster anyway?

The Spanos family's treatment of Weddle is part and parcel of why the Chargers are one screwed up organization. I knew the moment that Marty S. was fired after going 14-2 that the Spanos family would rather stick with AJ Smith and make a profit than seriously contend in the NFL. But the city of San Diego has sadly been stuck with bullshit owners of professional teams. We had the Clippers owned by D. Sterling, the Padres owned by C. A. Smith and the Kroc family, and the Spanos family owning the Chargers. Everyone talks about Chicago and Boston being cursed, but San Diego is right there with them.

Sure, We dont need no stinking LBs. We will use the quarter as our base D.
