Also a big week if you're a football and baseball fan, since playoff positions in MLB are taking shape. Personally, I don't care for soccer, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Used to be a baseball fan, but it is now just a spending competition. Small market teams just can't compete. Sure every now and then one will make the playoffs but the teams with the money are the ones that are there almost annually. I haven't watched a complete baseball game in 3 years. I used to watch about 70-80 and attend 10-15 games a year.

Costa Rica is on beIN Sport, which I don't get on my cable. I'll be heading to a bar to watch it. One of the lame rules where the home team in WCQ has broadcasting rights.

Mexico game is on ESPN.

Perhaps, the World Cup has always been my favorite sporting event and I've always followed team USA. Recently I've been trying to get enthusiastic about following the EPL, but it's tough since I don't have allegiance to any one team.
