Why don’t you guys just click on your quotes to see the context.

Mine pops up to a thread unrelated. It's his top change of scenery guys, lol.

I think he quoted me from that thread, then opened up a file he had saved somewhere with my quote he was sitting on and entered it in. Otherwise it makes no sense how it links me back to that one.

Busted....

I have to say- this is the one i got the most kick out of---- especially considering even when Whiteside isnt hurt he hasnt gotten off the bench much.

Question,

Since the Heat win without Whiteside and are the vastly superior team to begin with, how long until we can call this bet? I am thinking the Heat will have an insurmountable lead by the end of January. They are 10-15 games better than the Pacers.

That game was the 2nd game of the season if i remember correctly

I was a bit more supportive of the Pacers making the PG trade because I thought that there was logic in taking a couple of young players who could still develop into something than a couple of capable role players but no way did I think that Oladipo was going to turn into an All-NBA type player.
I'm not even gonna lie.

I thought the Pacers got FLEECED and repeated that sentiment ad nauseam.

Boy was I wrong.

Which is logical. But that presumes that the Pacers want to rebuild and go through the process of doing that. Clearly that wasn't their intention.

Yeah, obviously in hindsight it worked out well for them, but like you said there was almost no indication of Oladipo taking this sort of leap.

@tlance while we're at it, do you want to come around and say I told you so to @Mecca, @bksballer89 and I regarding how bad the Nets were going to be this year? I remember they started off pretty well and we thought you were being overly critical. You stuck to your guns and in the end you were right. Might as well keep it all in one thread.

Well congrats.

At the time, Whiteside was actually getting PT and was considered the Heat's best player.

Way to single out the Whiteside quote. By the way, I was literally the only person here who didn't skewer you when you made the TT/Whiteside claims. The only 1.

It was literally game #2. Whiteside had just came off a 20/20 night vs Orlando in the season opener before getting hurt....your comment was completely understandable at that point

Unfortunately, I think I may still lose my avi bet with @bksballer89 because of their late season run. Oh well.

I don't need the I told you so threads. Sometimes I am right, sometimes I am wrong (not that often, LOL). I will let clowns like @HurricaneDij39 live off these times. Not willing to track down the thousands of posts where he is wrong.

Your word is good enough for me.

Plus, you already said you'd honor it if he provided the proof.

You have always been a reasonable person, even if we disagreed, and you never had a problem admitting if you are wrong when I have had conversations with you.....but, yeah...you won..ALOT....:mad2:

That's the major issue with the problem children around here.

I think @Sparhawk said it best the other day.....

Seldom right and never wrong....lol

I know you didnt- because you know what i do--- in todays pace and space league its just super hard to find a fit for a center that cant shoot a 3 and or cant guard the perimeter.....having a guy like that take up a 1/4 of your payroll is like tying an anchor around your leg and trying to run a marathon.

@HurricaneDij39 and you're a fuck boy for thinking I don't honor bets. I always have and always will. It's the internet, like I give two fucks what avatar I'm sporting. I'd sport David Hasselhoff in a speedo if I wanted to.
Please don't - Some of them In will way to excited for our comfort

He will try to say - that he didn't have to acknowledged and just assumed it was a bet - Arizona Sting tried that shit on me and I told him flat out - that I did not bet him and would have said so - I don't play games like that - If I bet I will say I am betting and I expect a response in which their is an agreement. I deal with contracts on a regular basis - A contract is an agreement with two or more parties - If you offered and he never recognized you - there was no contract
