What kind of year do you think Emanual Sanders will have? I picked him up as a real low draft pick in Fantasy Football and I think he could have a great year playing in Denver. Curious what Denver fans are seeing.

If you got him as a "real low draft pick", you definitely got a LOT of value for your pick. It's expected they will move him around a bit to take advantage of matchups. The expectation is high, and he's definitely not going very low in my upcoming fantasy draft.....

If the reports from camp are to be believed he should have a good season. He allows the offense to go deeper and gives Manning a speedy receiver. If you got him for a low pick I think it will work out well for you.

I think you got yourself a steal if he was late in the draft. I'm thinking somewhere around 70 catches and a 1000 yards should be about what you are looking at with him. If I draft him he won't be a starter every week as I don't know what he offers touchdown wise but he is a nice flex option/back up for bye week or injury. I think year one with Manning you have to temper expectations just a bit as timing does take time but Welker showed last season Manning can get receivers up to speed very quickly.

Thanks for the input. I was interested in Ball too but Yahoo had him ranked high and he was gone early. I picked up Moreno off waivers early last year and it was a steal. Because of Moreno I watched Denver games whenever they were on and Ball appeared to me a better runner than Moreno.

Ball has a chance at a huge year. The 2nd half of the season he was averaging close to 2 yards more per carry than that of Moreno. He isn't quite the receiver that Moreno is but he should have a much better opportunity to do more damage in the run game. Unfortunately he is getting hyped very early in the Fantasy Football world so he is going earlier than I had hoped. RB's though that play with Manning have had some of the best FF years in the NFL so it is easy to see why a guy who has yet to start in this league is getting so hyped up.

Sanders as a lower pick is a steal. He's gonna have upward of 70 catches for 1000+ yards IMO. Don't see him as a huge RZ target though, so he may not get alot of scores.

I keep going back and forth on this. Last year we kept saying this about Welker yet he was a red zone machine for us. Manning seems to really like the quick guys to make those double moves on the pick plays to get open around the red zone. So I could see him still putting up close to 10 touchdowns this season if healthy.

I`am going to have to see how things unfold with Sanders. Welker is one of a kind at finding space in red zone that is under-rated imo. Yes Sanders has the speed and quickness but I need to see more as far as his football IQ and that Welker awareness to slide into that open area. We shall see. I still think that Latimore ( by wk 6 or so) is going to be a bigger red zone threat and Sanders will be the guy that Manning gets to air it out to more than a red zone threat. With all the weapons Denver has, I could prob get a look or two in the red zone and haul in one though:yahoo: :)

Sanders better get healthy quick the way Cody Latimer is playing. Latimer "cleanly" laid out the safety Bethea and give him a concussion not to mention a great TD catch.
