This event was not a reflection of the Houston Texans fan base.
I was at the Seattle @ Houston game a couple of weeks ago. I was right in the middle of Texan country wearing team colors at a Seahawk tailgate in section Blue 20. I was surrounded by Houston fans as I entered the stadium through the pat down funnel that was about 10 fans wide and thousands deep. Of course, I was again engulfed by them as I walked down the terraces to rejoin the tailgate after we won a difficult game on their turf.
I have never witnessed a more friendly, hospitible, and welcoming group of people. Everyone I bumped into was totally cool. The worst I saw the entire day was one fan showing me a thumbs down sign. That is it!
I am not kidding and I would love to go back for another game some day. They are a credit to all fan bases.
