So, you think the committee should ignore everything else and just use KenPom and Sagarin, or you think KenPom and Sagarin just outweigh everything else for MSU? What's your thought process on this one?

I think the committee puts too much weight into early season struggles. MSU was a completely different team in February and March than they were in November and December.

do you think the committee should seed teams based on how they will perform? Because the committee thinks they should seed teams on how they did perform. I tend to agree with the committee.

If you're unhappy with where your team is seated (or that it didn't make the tourney) then win more games. That's the cure all. Win more games. Always has been, always will be.

I have no issue with UVA'S seeding, but clearly MSU is better than a 7 seed.

Louisville made Elite 8
Duke made Final 4
MSU made Final 4.

Yeah, some bad losses there.

They have to justify the early exit somehow. Instead of them getting outplayed it was because Michigan State was seeded to high.

Regardless of what team we're talking about, "win more games" still applies. MSU was ranked based on their resume. Their resume wasn't very good. At one point it was up in the air if they would even make the field. Yes, they improved, and so did their seeding.
