Nothing wrong with fouling Harrell (60% FT shooter) in the single bonus. That's actually a good strategy when he has position.

Paid off that time

I feel like these two teams sort of backed their way into the elite 8. They probably had the worst combined 1 and 2 seeds with Villanova and Virgina. MSU and Louisville aren't on the same level as Kentucky, Wisconsin, Duke, Arizona, and Gonzaga, after those 5 teams I feel like there is pretty big drop off

Kansas was the worst 2 Seed.

Virginia was probably the 2nd rated 2 seed....Could make a argument that they were the top 2 seed.

How do you back your way into the elite 8 beating the 2 & 3 seed in your region? Louisville I can see because they did not have to face a seed higher than them but there's no backing into the elite 8 when you beat the 2 and 3 seed in your region

That was clean

Can't blame the refs for making that call in real time. That's one of the benefits of attacking quickly...even if it is clean, it is almost impossible for the refs to tell.

I would have to disagree, I would say Gonzaga and Arizona are better then Virginia. IMO Virginia was overrated and it's not like Oklahoma was some great team. That side of the bracket was weakest of the 4

There is no way MSU backed their way into this game. They played one of the top 2 seeds and a damn good Oklahoma team

Whoever comes out of the East will have had a significantly easier route than UK, Wisky, or Duke/Zags.

No question about it especially if it is Louisville. The highest seed they would have played would have been 5th seeded Northern Iowa

Wow, MSU player gets tackled on rebound attempt and Louisville gets 3 on other end.

Somebody might want to remind MSU that they're going to need to score again eventually. (ya know... if they want to win and all)
