Are there any 2 championship QB's not in the HOF? I don't think Eli is a HOF'er, but the rings may prove otherwise.I think he is still in the running to be a HOFer but he needs to do alot more in his career. Despite this tough year he is having this year he has had a hell of a career
Only very few players make it. We already have Brady, Peyton, Brees, and Rodgers ahead of him. I would think you'd also have to put Roethlisberger ahead of him as he has better stats and an additional Super Bowl appearance. Guys like Romo and Rivers would easily leapfrog Eli with a Super Bowl win. Then you have all of the young guys coming up. There just isn't room for a completely average quarterback, even if he has two Super Bowl rings.
Well said. If all qbs playing today quit - then Eli is in, no doubt. But its very tough to put 6-7 qbs from 1 single era in the HOF.

I think Jim Plunkett is the only 2x SB winner not in the HoF.
TD-INT....164-198
Yards - 25,882
QB rating - 67.5
Eli currently:
220-159
33,258
81.8
He is for the rings. Should he be on the rest of his merits? No, and it was never close, but that doesn't matter.
Does anyone know if there is a QB with 2 rings that didn't get in?
