Was it just me, or did anyone else notice during the Vikings game that when Giants QB Eli Manning dropped back and came under the slightest pressure, he threw the ball into the ground to avoid being hit?

He did not step into throws, and he did not stand in and deliver against pressure, at least where I could see.

If he's anxious about hits, its time to get out of pro football.

He looked very skittish back there. But what was that Giants game plan? My goodness, they didn't even try to throw further than 5 yards.

Giants' OL is hot garbage. Eli has a family to take care of.

My guess is he was coached to get the ball out super fast against that Minny pass rush. But it seemed like it was kind of hopeless about halfway through the game. They are not precise enough in their pass game, which is more of a big-play pass game, to beat the Vikings that way.

Admittedly I crashed on this game so I missed parts of it...I did see Eli ground the ball a few times when the play was whistled dead...QBs are trained to do that to avoid the hit...overall he just had a rough game, maybe he was a bit anxious to get rid of it, but Idk if it's quite time for him to give up the cleats, but I definitely don't see him playing beyond his current contract...'19.

Give it up dude. You don't know what you're talking about, which is understandable considering you are obviously too young to have ever watched Elway.

You are just a homer, it's ok. I watched Elway plenty and mainly his best years too. Considering almost every top 5 QB list has Elway in it, yes...overrated is the word. I can name 6 to 7 QB's ahead of Elway.

No Oline and the Vikings were living in the backfield.

Eli starts every game, and he might start 100 more.

Damn, when I saw your post quoted below I was hoping you were a Seahawk's fan. That would have been funny.
