Really? Because I said I cannot understand the call?

Bo explained why he made the call after the game and I understand now why he thought he could get it....I still don't agree with it......but "throw him under the bus"?????

Shut the fuck up you chicken shit.

Why you dumb shit, you wanted to get rid of Bo because of one horrible call and you know it. Fucking hypocrite.

Bo will be back next year, and at least a year or two after that simply because he will be fielding an extremely young team overall. I see this as a win-win situation. There is not another great option as far as head coach goes for next year, and possibly the season after that. Either A) Bo finally pulls it together and wins a CCG in the next two years, or B) he fails, and we are able to pull in a big name coach that will pull us to the next level. A Frost, a Tressel, or any other name that could pop up by then.

The only way Mad Dog will be successful is if he rids his staff of a few horrible assistants with "good" ones and doesn't micromanage them. Not likely to happen.

SE was in a no win situation with the Nebraska fan base. Half want Bo gone the other half doesn't. Bo has taken Nebraska to a bowl game 6 years in a row BC didn't. SE was going to have to pull a rabbit out of his with a higher and I'm talking a grand slam type higher. If you remember Pedey went after Urban Meyer and Meyer told him to pound sand after firing Frank Solich after 9 win season. So tell me all the ones who want Bo gone who really is SE going to be able to bring in and get Nebraska back to winning conference championships? What happens if his higher only win 4 games in 2014 and 2015 then how would Bo look? Just maybe Nebraska lands a difference maker at DT in recruiting and the defense starts to play like it did in 09 and 10. Nebraska offense plays like it can and fixes the turnover bug and wins the B1G next year. Nebraska is not a far as some of you think. You all should really be upset with Perlman. Perlman is the main reason for the AD being in the place it is and the torn fan base?

No, that won't happen, but they are a group that are all learning together. Either way they succeed or don't, in the end Bo takes it to the next level, or we all are finally able to accept he isn't the guy and move on to someone that is. Oh, and we still win 9 each year regardless.

I'm no troll you motherfucker. I've been a fan of Nebraska since about 1968, way before you were ever born.

No nine wins this year and eight at the most next year after the bowl game.

We will see Zorby, if you are right Bo will be gone, which we all know you want. Like I said I am happy either way. I want Bo to succeed, if he doesn't, I am confident we find someone who will.

I think most coaching candidates would have understood Mad Dog getting fired if it was for his behavior, and not his record at Nebraska.

As far as the great Urban Meyer coming here, I highly doubt if he would have come here anyways. Just think if he would have though? Nebraska would not have missed a beat! BCS bowls, conference championships, and maybe even a NC or two! WOW!

Personally I view Bo as a hot-head, whereas Meyer is just a fucking dick, more people dislike Meyer than Bo. I would only be able to like him if he was our coach and winning championships. I sincerely hope he goes undefeated again and doesn't sniff the title game.

"We very much look forward to our upcoming bowl game and Coach Pelini continuing to lead our program in the future."

Does the "future" mean just the bowl game or the 2014 season? It would be a joke to fire him after the bowl game so as much as it pains me to say, he better be here for the 2014 season.
-------
I still don't call SE's statement a "ringing endorsement". But we'll see

Meh.....it's obvious that I'm in the minority and won't change anyone's mind.

Like I said though, Eichorst was going to be in the minority too....and there is a reason for that.
-------
JJM there is a reason. Let the HC hang himself. Do you honestly think Bo is going to get away with any tirades again? Have we even heard the last about yesterdays hissy fit? Don't think so. Bo's not stupid by any stretch of the imagination, BUT I think he's vain enough to think he has the"leverage" to do as he pleases. If I were SE, better to let Bo hang himself than to fire him (at least for now). This may be a reprieve, but it ain't gonna end well for Bo.

I support the players, not the decision. This is what we get for the foreseeable future, ** is just good enough to pull out 7-8 wins per year to avoid getting fired, great. The last 3 years feels like 1 big continuous grotesque season, I see no reason why that won't stretch to 4∞, I hope I am wrong
