T.O. is done as AD - get over it. If SE needs his help, then we need a new AD that has man sized parts to lead the athletics at Nebraska.

The season isnt over. The guy had to respond. What else was he supposed to say with a bowl game to be played?

Had he said it after the bowl I would be more inclined to believe him.

I would have never known that TO still gets a say in things if it weren't for the media reporting it.....

It's the reality of it all - get over it.

He is not going to be fired after the bowl game.

That is not even a possibility as of right now.

"We very much look forward to our upcoming bowl game and Coach Pelini continuing to lead our program in the future."

Does the "future" mean just the bowl game or the 2014 season? It would be a joke to fire him after the bowl game so as much as it pains me to say, he better be here for the 2014 season.

Through the bowl game and beyond is how I read it.

I'm going to support it though and move on with what Bo needs to do. He's got to figure out this Turnover problem. I think a new S&C coach is the first place to look. Announcers were calling that out during the Iowa game for the injuries too, but it might also be the cause of the fumbling. Dobson just isn't concentrating on the right things.

I'd also like to see a new LB coach, because it shouldn't have taken half a season to get Rose into the right position.

I really don't expect any changes either. Pelini has stated over and over again that he believes in his process, and that process includes all the pieces he has in place right now.

I feel sorry for the players, they're the ones that are going to be affected the most by this.

Looks like it just became much cheaper to purchase tickets next season, there will be many seating options to choose from

The players love their coach and run through a wall for him though....

That is the reason why I didn't agree with firing Bo yet. The backlash would be huge in my opinion as there are a lot of young guys on the team who might lay over the next couple of seasons under a different coach.

It's like having someone take your father away from you and say "here's your new dad....get used to it." I'll bet most of them wouldn't handle it well.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard!!! If "most" of the players wouldn't handle it well and would lay down then we have a team filled of little baby bitches that will never make it in the NFL or life. Coaches/bosses change all the time!!!!

I was talking about our current situation......beings as how most of them are very young.

On Defense most of those guys will be here 3 more seasons. They've invested themselves 100% into this guy, and if there is one thing Bo does as good as any coach in the country it's develop relationships with his players.

Most kids today coming out of high school are little baby bitches. It's the Ameer Abdullah's of the world who are few and far between.

yea, the one reservation i had with firing bo was the way the players felt. Such as Kenny Bell's comments yesterday about going against Satan for the guy. The players clearly love him. KB also talked about the TO problem and he blamed it on the players, not Bo and the coaches.

I ultimately got over that one reservation just because they are grown men and are playing for the University. It might take a season, but they'd learn to like the next coaching staff just as much as the current. But that's moot now.
