Probably worse than that because they would have had to play a West schedule. I am guessing 6 or 7.

But, the Celtics are winning!

Miami was 5th in defensive efficiency for the season. Boston's also a shit rebounding team. I wonder how they would've handled Whiteside on the boards? Considering TT's been making a playground of the Celtics collective assholes. Try again.

i dont put very much stock in the regular season---- but the Celtics were 4-0 against the Heat...

and i mean- i think in a lot of the ways the Heat are a poor mans Celtics---- a really deep team, well coached without the requisite star power. The Celtics are just a lot better at it and do have an All NBA player in Thomas- who deserved his selection (though i take Kyrie before him without a 2nd thought).

Just as i thought before the playoffs- i thought Toronto was the Cavs toughest matchup follwoed by either Boston or Washington.

Marcus Smart is a guy who has some grit to his game. I dont think hes afraid of the moment- even if some of his teammates are.

Id love to have Marcus Smart as abackup guard on the Cavs.

Yeah, he's got no fear. Huge compete level. Makes a ton of big plays that you'll not see on a statsheet.

But he has a well deserved reputation as a flopper and is a hothead who is prone to doing stupid things.

Yeah, much more convenient to put all your stock into those two Bulls losses than the other 94 they played to get to the ECF.

I'm sure you're right. The 41 win Heat were a wagon.

Because the losses were recent and it was in the playoffs. Once Rondo went down, the Celtics benefitted significantly.
