The heat are the only team where quarters won becomes such a big deal. Same thing espn did last year in the ecf vs bos. It is discrediting them as always

Having 1 explosive quarter that outweighs 3 losing ones isn’t a bad thing.

Especially when that quarter happens in the 2nd half like it often does for Miami.

It is basically saying miami wasn't the better team and essentially got "lucky" which is why you dont hear thr quarters BS when other teams do it

The excuses people been making in the media all playoffs for Miami opponents is nasty. This been ongoing for a month now

Soon as the comment was made, heat twitter went crazy and im talking media guys such as beat writers & reporters all saying here goes the quarter talk again. Espn ran with this lame story last ecf as well. Clear agenda

So, what I hear you saying is that Heat Twitter and media are hyper sensitive too?

This is not a negative thing at all.

You don’t hear the quarter stuff with other teams because other teams can’t win that way consistently.

You are choosing to take it as a negative when it isn’t.

Only thing that matters is the total score after 4 quarters. All the dives into quarter spilts are nothing more than analysis on trends for how certain teams get it done.

This trend for Miami is different and absolutely note worthy.

Embrace it and stop looking so hard for perceived slights.

There is no perceived slight. It is a slight and been a slight. The media hated Miami with a passion since Lebron went there and never got over it

To take credit away from miami wins in game 3 & 4 of the knicks series, espn blamed the weather for a sport played indoors

To take credit away from miami in the bucks series, they used the Giannis excuse even though the games he played Milwaukee entering both 4 quarters and miami figured out a way to come out on top. Zero talk of Giannis going 2-13 in those 2 quarters because Bam locked his ass up
