I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. You truly seem like a nice guy just based on knowing you from the boards. I agree that marriage isn't for everyone. I very recently found out about a friend who had been going around behind his wife's back, trying to cheat on her (he was denied by the girl he was stalking). Dude just got married couple years ago, has a 2 year old kid, hates his wife, hates his life. He was already a miserable bastard before marriage, so maybe it's just him.

Only speaking for myself, I love being married. I love having kids. I love seeing my kids and my wife interact w each other. I love that my kids love me so much. It's a life I never dreamed I'd live. But that's me.

That's great. I know there are guys who enjoy being married. I'm not saying the act itself is right or wrong because everything is the perception of the individual. But I know factually the men's biological code is to spread seed and bang multiple chicks. Women's nature is to keep a man nearby to protect their off spring. Men are used as tools to provide for a woman's offspring and when the man is no longer useful to the woman, he is cast aside and replaced for a man that can. Marriage is stacked against the man in every way in our modern age. In 4 of 5 cases, the woman always get custody and the man is ordered to pay child support or even alimony, even if the woman decided to get the divorce. Over 50% of marriages end in divorce and 70% of the time, the woman initiates it. All the while being protected by the courts.

But to wrap it all up, if 50% of marriages end in divorce and the man has to give up 50% of all his earnings plus alimony. It would be flat out moronic for Ebron to get married. Also, without a wife to nag and take up all his free time. He could work on learning the playbook.

Utah is one of the worst states out there for husbands rights. I love being married, it is working great for me, but if My wife ever decides to leave me I am screwed.
