I remember when I was heavy on beer at no point did I or anyone around me go "Hey, which one of these drinks has less carbs?" or "which has no corn syrup?"

For fuck's sake it's beer. I think we're automatically past the point of carbs or corn syrup if one's looking to drink it.

But, these commercials have been entertaining.

It doesn't matter one single bit what the sugar is that is used for fermentation. The yeast eats it all. Bud light is simply trying to capitalize on the fact that corn syrup is on the shit list with consumers trying to avoid it as a sweetener in food and some dumb-asses actually think it matters.

You could actually say that brewers who use corn syrup to ferment their product are supporting the American farmer, while brewers who don't and use rice (such as bud light) are supporting rice farmers which I don't think are too plentiful in the US.

If I was Coors, I'd spin it back at AB like this.
