The pacers are my new favorite team to watch. I thought defense was dead in the NBA but the Pacers proved otherwise
I guess you haven't seen the Thunder or Minny play.

Or the Warriors with Butler or Houston or Boston or Orlando lolI guess you haven't seen the Thunder or Minny play.
Unfortunately I have seen the joke that are the Minnesota Timberwolves; especially the fool Anthony Edwards. OKC is good but more on the offensive end than the defensive one so not getting your meaning thereI guess you haven't seen the Thunder or Minny play.

Agree that pace of their offense is a big factor but watching first NeSmith and then Nembhard shut down Brunson was eye opening and nice to see at the pro level. Minnesota only played this last series because Curry got hurt. I’m not impressedMinny was one of the better defensive teams in the league...their offense is weak.
If I recall correctly, OKC was the best defensive team in the league.
While Indy does play fairly high level defense in spurts...they are more about the pace of their offense.
So, I guess my point is that your post was incorrect as OKC is actually better defensively...at least that's been the case all season.
Welcome back, Monty. LOL.
OKC is the best defensive team in the league by a comfortable margin.
Dort is the best perimeter defender in the league. Literally everyone in their main rotation are plus defensive players.
Dort was 1st team all defense, Williams was 2nd. Caruso was 2nd team last season, SGA barely missed on getting 2nd team each of the last 2 seasons. Chet probably would have been 2nd team if he had played enough games (he also barely missed this season).
Not only are you way off base with your commentary on OKC defense, this is a generationally great defensive team.
The Pacers meanwhile were about league average in defensive rating.

The Thunder are a historic defensive team, they aren’t just good. As for offense, 3rd in offensive efficiency, 3rd in points per game, 1st in assist to to ratio, 1st in ft %, 5th in fg %, 5th in 3 pt %.Unfortunately I have seen the joke that are the Minnesota Timberwolves; especially the fool Anthony Edwards. I surrender but I still like watching the Pacers and the way they play the game. Since they got healthy in January they have the second best record in the league.LOL.

Back to the drawing board.
Hope you enjoy the series, it’s a great matchup for basketball fans.As I said, they are a very good offensive team
It will be fun to watch. I hope the Pacers win but it will be a very tall order. I have OKC in 6Hope you enjoy the series, it’s a great matchup for basketball fans.
I believe 2nd half of the season Curry played like a Superstar.Right now?
Jokic, SGA, Giannis, Luka and Tatum for me
Curry and LeBron are still in that line because of their legendary icon status even though their play isn’t quite there still.
Butler unlocked him. They should have a shot at a top 4 seed next year potentiallyI believe 2nd half of the season Curry played like a Superstar.
Their offense was still top 10 this year. I think they ended up 6 on defense and 8 on Offense. Thunder are 1 and 3, and it showed in that series. Offense looked worse than it was this series because the Thunder made Edwards give up even trying to enter the paint. Which is part an Edwards issue, but a lot of credit to how dominant OKC is on defense as well.Minny was one of the better defensive teams in the league...their offense is weak.

Jimmy ain’t bitter Twolf Jimmy anymore but thanks for the warningSomeone going to have to warn you on what to expect from Part Time Jimmy during the regular season.
You'll be lucky if he plays 75% of your games with him. You arent going to finish top 4 in the meat grinder of the West when you are already conceding more than 20 games without 1 of your top 2 players before the season even starts.
