You never know in today's NBA but I think Brunson is more the 2nd best player on a title contending team.

I'm proud of how far he's come as a hardcore Nova fan, but ... just too much on his shoulders

There's for sure a bit of blame to go around....but KAT wasn't the problem...nor the only one with some flaws.

It's a team sport.
Scapegoating him is just lame and foolish. .
The lack of depth on the bench became problematic.
I'm sure that'll be addressed and improved on in the off season.

Come the playoffs... it's hard enough to try to cover for 1 key player's defensive deficiencies... when you have to try to cover for 2 (Towns & Brunson) there is (simply put) a hard ceiling on your potential.

Disagree if the issue is communication. It doesn’t matter how talented you are as a defensive player, everybody can communicate. It’s a discipline and a willingness.

Brunson will grow from this. He has a few bad habits like faking fouls and over ball handling to address. Needs to play off the ball more. He is very valuable
