That franchise won the title in 1951 (not Sacramento obviously)
Morey only had eyes for Harden. They could have made a Halliburton deal for Simmons.
Pacers in 6
There's for sure a bit of blame to go around....but KAT wasn't the problem...nor the only one with some flaws.
Come the playoffs... it's hard enough to try to cover for 1 key player's defensive deficiencies... when you have to try to cover for 2 (Towns & Brunson) there is (simply put) a hard ceiling on your potential.
Disagree if the issue is communication. It doesn’t matter how talented you are as a defensive player, everybody can communicate. It’s a discipline and a willingness. There's for sure a bit of blame to go around....but KAT wasn't the problem...nor the only one with some flaws.
It's a team sport.
Scapegoating him is just lame and foolish. .
The lack of depth on the bench became problematic.
I'm sure that'll be addressed and improved on in the off season.
My take too. I would quickly look to trade KAT. He does not have broad enough skills.Come the playoffs... it's hard enough to try to cover for 1 key player's defensive deficiencies... when you have to try to cover for 2 (Towns & Brunson) there is (simply put) a hard ceiling on your potential.
Changing Brunsons status from Superstar to Stupidstar
Changing Brunsons status from Superstar to Stupidstar
Brunson will grow from this. He has a few bad habits like faking fouls and over ball handling to address. Needs to play off the ball more. He is very valuableWell…
Instead of changing his status every other week, maybe you can just admit that he was never a superstar?
Real superstars are the guy no matter what team they are on.

You are as inconsistently consistent as refs were in series
Have never changed my view on Brunson till last nite, he played his dumbest game ever…
Don’t know what you call a player who scores 30+ pts a game in PS, where all studs prove themselves under the microscope …
Again you need a lesson in what the best is…
Ya got to wait till the finals are done
The best team is the team with the best chance of winning it all, and that’s OKC, you knuckleheads wil not even give another team the respect of being the best team if OKC chokes it away
OKC needs to win the title to have had the best season and validate their accomplishments.
But there is nothing that can happen that will change the fact that OKC has been the best team all year long. They are the best team.
Sometimes crazy stuff happens and the best team doesn’t win the small sample of a 7 game series.
We are here to talk about basketball. Analyzing the games and the teams playing them is a big part of it.
