Unlike years past I actually feel good about this team in game 7. Predict Malkin will shine in it.

He had the look in the third period of game 4...it's still there. Outside the retaliation slash, he had some solid shifts. Always feels like just a matter of time for him.

Work schedule has only let me watch two games, but from what I have seen it looks like TB has keyed on Malkin. Where most teams key on Crosby.

Murrays best game this series, by far. In the Caps series he was a difference maker, tonight he found that again. He still has that lateral/overcommitting issue. Bolts know it too, they're pushing for east/west.

I think it might've been a different story if the disallowed goal stood. He fucked that one up royally, and you could see the relief in his body language. He knew he was a guy who just got a gift of a second chance. He just got better from there.

Today I learned that Phil Esposito is a whiner. His call on the Crosby goal was well short of professional. I know regional guys are biased, that's honestly fine, but still don't be like an emotional fan reacting to things that don't break your way. Can't Miss: Crosby scores Gm6 GWG "Oooooh my god, come on." Come on Espo...even freaking Steiggy doesn't do that on goals.

I guess there is a NHL policy that permits only one community viewing party per playoff round.
