when did i suggest Lowry was bad? I think Lowry is EASILY a top 10 player in the East and possibly around a top 5....especially in importance to his team....If I was just picking for next season and i didnt think of age- id take Lowry over John Wall probably.

Lowry has played well against the Cavs too....but as far as I can tell- unless DeRozan starts playing better- hes the only guy you have to worry about....the Cavs could game plan to let Lowry get 40 and still win by double digits.

DeRozan began playing better....unless you're living under a rock

So we are betting on the sweep?
Seems like you're pretty certain Cavs destroy them every game.

Wiggy got the Cavs winning every game by 17.2 PPG

They've had 1 blowout in their 8 wins.
He can't think straight right now.
He's got the voodoo dolls out twisting Currys knee.

"playing better" is CERTAINLY a relative term.

The guy is shooting 35% in the playoffs. He shot 39% against the Heat.

I am sure the Cavs will let DeRozan score 30 every single night if it takes him 25 shots to do so. His shot looks like garbage right now. Thats not to say it cant get better- guys get hot and go cold or go cold and get hot ALL the time in the playoffs...

Kobe looks so unenthused!

And I'm not going to even say what they look like in that second pic.....

To be fair, Kobe's old. Probably doesn't know who Drake is.

Patrick Patterson and Bismack Biyombo are the only 2 guys on the Raptors that are over 6' 8" who are likely to play any thing close to significant minutes for the Raptors.

The Cavs will counter with Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, Channing Frye

The Cavs have no excuse...they should dominate the boards...

the Pistons got hot from 3 in game one of that series.....the Hawks got pretty hot at times....

that seems the only way that the Raptors will win a game--- if they are super hot from 3...and the Cavs are cold from 3....

Its just so much for teams to have to contend with a team hitting 10-15 3's in a game....thats an EXTRA 10-15 points...it just makes it so hard on the other team to make up ground at times.

I woulD THINK The Raptors would try and make an adjustment to cover the Cavs 3 pt shooters...I think that this series will have a lot more of LeBron scoring...insanely...that might be the better option for the Raptors.

Cavs -1450
Raptors +950
lets just say that the Cavs will get MUCH better odds against the Warriors than the Raptors are getting against the Cavs....LOL....what are the Cavs 7-1 against the Raptors? Against the Warriors I bet the Warriors are 2-1 favorites.......

No shit..
Nobody is suggesting Raptors are winning the series.
I said Cavs in 5 or 6 depending on
JV.

I think Warriors will be closer to 3-1
vs Cavs.
Cavs are -1450 in this series.

Is wiggy going to accept the bet on a Cavs sweep or not? He seems convinced that they're going to sweep

bismack biyombo and patrick patterson is the starting PF, C combo for the Raptors...

the Cavs have Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love....

DeMarre Carrol vs. LeBron James

Irving vs. Lowry

DeRozan vs. Smith

bench----

Mathew Dellavadova
Iman Shumpert
Channing Frye
Richard Jefferson

those seem to be the 4 players that go in and out of the Cavs postseason rotation.

Terrence Ross
Corey Joseph
Lucas Nogiera/Scola
Norman Powell/Justin Thompson

its a little harder to nail down the Toronto rotation with the injuries they have suffered......

I really like how the Cavs matchup....especially in the front court, and especially their depth...if DeMarre Carroll is not healthy that will be doom for the Raptors.

Carroll is fine.....
I think JV is done, and with him any shot the Raps have at an upset.

Maybe if they get rid of some of the weaker bench options (I never want to see Ross again), replace DeRozan with a better shooter and have JV and Carroll completely healthy next season they can contend but I can't see it happening here. If Masai wants to be considered a good GM he'll put in work this offseason.

I'm not sure if he's done. They listed him as doubtful for game 2. That tells me that there is a good chance he is back when the series returns to Toronto

It would be nice. He's been a huge part of that team he deserves to play in the conference finals.

Raptors need a power forward - ideally a stretch- and another guard that can shoot a 3. Ryan Anderson would be a great compliment to JV. I like CJ off the bench- but he cant shoot a 3...combine that with DeRozan not being able to shoot the 3- and they could really use another back court guy who plays significant minutes who can shoot.
