Carr is another guy I looked at, took Vick because he has more weapons at his disposal. My plan was to use Vick as an emergency QB for a week or two and hope no one picked Romo and or Carr. Snooze I lose, oh well.

It was a no brainer to grab Romo, he slots into the IR spot. But it's not like he is going to be making a difference any time soon. It might be FF playoffs by the time Romo suits back up. I'll wait and see though, he's not costing me a roster space for a while.

I made a mistake, it wasn't Earl who picked up Romo, it was Eric. If you read the IR thread on the league, Eric makes it sound like a player on the NFL IR list can be placed on a FF IR list, however he still has Romo on his bench roster. I guess a player simply out for four games cannot be place on IR with our league.

Yahoo does their I.R. differently than ESPN. In ESPN if a player is listed as "Out" he can be placed on IR until he is no longer designated as "Out". Yahoo only allows players designated as "I.R." to be placed in the "I.R." slot. When I set up the league I was unaware of that.

Romo is in the I.R. slot on my roster. I still have one open roster space.

Of course, none of this is going to matter if my fucking team can't stay healthy.

I haven't made any changes since draft night. There is no 6th bench spot. I.R. was always in play. So yea, majority ruled.

I think we were all just a little unclear of the rules - myself included.

Go back and read the thread I started before the league was created. I.R. was always in play.

Romo was available to all before I grabbed him. Not even on Waivers when I picked him up.

The question I posed the other week was to see if all were on board with adding another bench slot. Majority said no, so there was no 6th bench slot added.
