Still worried about lack of consistent pass rush which has been the bane of our 2014 football life.

It didn't look like the Eagles defense was tired to me
They were still making solid stops even towards the end of the game
Yes they did allow some big plays but for the most part it was a good effort by the Eagles D

The 49ers won this game because the 49ers defense bottled up the Eagles offense - not because the Eagles D was on the field an inordinate amount of time

42:17 to 17:43 , 218 to 22 rushing yards I would have to say it was both the offense and defense that beat the eagles!!!! the only reason the eagles even had a shot was piss poor special teams play

42.17 time of possession for the 49rs... 17.43 for Philly ..... That is the problem with running hurry up all game long if your offense isn't successful ... It's just a matter of time before Philly faces good defenses.. Like they did today... Chip doesn't adjust he just keep's hurrying up even if Philly's O is struggling... That's putting to much pressure on Philly's D ....

Hope you are right, hope you are right. A win is a win, and I'll take it. But lots to still be concerned about, like no pass rush, no pass protection, no big plays, poor special teams, very inconsistent offense. Yikes, we were real close to losing that one. Great work by the D, not sure how they did it with no pass rush.

Other issues:

1. I would suggest demoting Crabtree for someone faster. We lack speed at WR and that lets the D gear up for the run. Crabs is not so great, only average, too injury prone, and too mistake prone this year. What about Quinton or ellington? We have plenty of experience at WR, lets play some young guys.

2. Why does Ray Mac play on passing plays? he never gets pressure. Does he take up more than one blocker allowing other guys to get free?
