NJ.com's Mark Eckel passes along a "rumor making its rounds in NFL personnel meetings" of the Eagles trading Sam Bradford to the Browns for the No. 19 overall pick in the draft.

The Browns already offered No. 19 to the Rams for Bradford, prior to his trade to Philadelphia. St. Louis didn't accept because it wanted a quarterback, and wound up acquiring Nick Foles. The Browns are "still said to have interest" in Bradford. Per Eckel, the rumor has the Eagles then sending Nos. 19 and 20 -- plus Mychal Kendricks and Fletcher Cox -- to the Titans in exchange for No. 2 overall, where Philly would select Marcus Mariota. Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reported Friday that Bradford currently believes the Eagles may be planning to trade him.

I would still like to see Tenn get another pick. Cox and Kendricks are Free Agents in 2016.

That would not make the Eagles a better team IMO so I'm all for it

Wouldn't make the Eagles a good team this year but it gives Chip his guy. If I were the Titans I would want the eagles 2016 1st rounder. We have to remember that the eagles don't have a 4th round pick in this draft and a 2nd round pick in 2016. This will be interesting.

I'm looking everywhere for this story and it doesn't appear to be alive. While I'm not a big MM fan if anyone can get it to work it's Chip so I don't want to see this in any way shape or form.

If this is the proposed trade Philly is going to make, they'll be manning their defense with people playing late in the fourth pre-season game. I.e., McDonalds will be losing a burger flipper or two or more for the balance of the NFL season.

The Browns would be completely stupid if they give up a 1st for Sam Bradford no way in hell would I give up that much for a above average QB being one hit away from retiring like he has talked about

I'm with ehb5, Giving up a 1st round pick for Bradford? Cleveland can't be this dumb. A QB who can't stay healthy is all I need to know about this scenario and who it favors... Cleveland aint that team. I do see a trade taking place being that the only team in the NFCE without a SB win right now has 4 1/2 QB's on their squad. Obviously Eags want Mariotta so anything is possible but in this scenario Cleveland holds the golden goose. I would want more from the Eagles if I'm giving up my 1st rounder. Toss a 4th in their as well... or no deal. ,,, but Cleveland is Cleveland.

Tennessee isn't stupid. They're not agreeing to that trade unless they have an agreement with both players to sign long term deals. This is kind of the same thing that happened with Portis.

I doubt Tennessee would give up the second pick to rent young, stud players for such a short period of time. If they don't lock down long term deals with both (if that's in fact in the works), they'd be really dumb. Even Cerrato could figure that out.
