Sweat is really good against the run. Very underrated in that area. I can't unsee what Chase was his rookie year. Total game changer. Scoring touchdowns, putting QBs out of the game. I just haven't seen that version of Chase since.

I think we have a pretty good idea of what we have in Sweat. The year Chase has in 23 will determine a lot.

Wouldn't that fall just short of the DLine sack record? Isn't the all time NFL sack record for a DLine 36.5, held by the 85 Bears (Dent, McMichael, Perry, Hampton)?

Chase hasn’t shown me he can sniff 10 sacks , sweat could hit it , Allen and Payne numbers are about right

but the question is if that D/line was that good why wouldn’t you pay to keep it ?

I know we can keep both sweat and young ( Clowney ) money wise but it’s about choices. I keep sweat at this point and let clowney walk

We shall see...those numbers are not out of the question and very realistic imo.

I would at least call and see what the asking price is. Lance in a Bieniemy offense could work.
