No but he joins the bestest secondary in the NFL.

A very good trio of Slay, Bradberry and Maddox but safety is currently the biggest hole on the team. I think their high on Epps but he might not end up being anything more than just serviceable. That is essentially the best case scenario for our safeties is that they can be serviceable and not major liabilities, but them being major liabilities is also on the table.

He was cut for a reason. Lets see how he plays before we crown this to be a great move. The Eagles have a very solid squad, problem is they still have Hurts. He can lead you to victories but he has a ceiling. You need a great/elite QB to win in the playoffs these days.

Bradberry was not good last year and $10M is an overpay IMO. But, the Eagles had a hole and if they have the cap room and weren't planning on using it elsewhere, a one year $10M deal is a pretty good signing. If it were long term at $10M per I'd think otherwise about the deal, but this probably makes them better and if he plays like he did last year again you just don't resign him and maybe get a comp pick out of it. One year deals are tougher to fit in the cap but smart when you don't want to commit long term to the player. Good move IMO

I just checked to see if Howie did his usually stupid crap like make it a one year deal but spread out the bonus over 3 years by using "fake years" and create automatic dead money and saw Spotrac shows it at $7.5M. So either he set it up so that $2.5M is dead money in typical moronic Howie fashion, or its only a 1 year $7.5M deal which makes it a really, really good move for Philly IMO.

It's 7.5 with 2.5 in incentives.
