Not only the best team in the NFC East right now but a legit contender in the NFL

So, the Eagles fatten up to 11 wins on soft NFCE teams only to get bounced 1st round seems to be the play here.

great movie
Honestly, I was hoping they would have the Major League Lou Brown quote where he tells his assistant that it's all coming together.
They didn't and this seemed like the next best option.

I knew RTK would be in here calling this the greatest cornerback tandem in NFL history!

Bradberry was pretty up and down last season and I am under no illusions. But...this is a solid veteran #2 CB signing IMO, and the Eagles had a pretty big hole at #2 corner after failing to address the position in the draft. Even if he is average, it's a solid boost for the defense, filling the last big hole that seemed to exist on paper.

Seriously? This couldn't have gone in the free agent thread or better yet, on the Eagles forum?

He was up and down as the #1 corner on a team that was one of the worst teams in the league at rushing the passer.

He is now the #2 CB on a team that is near the top of the league at rushing the passer.

This isnt hard math.

For as much as people want to rip RTK, he is onto something about this current Eagles team. From the end of the 2020 season to this moment, there hasnt been a better GM in the league than Howie. The way he got the Colts to bid against themselves for a broken Wentz to right now, he has made virtually every right move. He has put together a hole-less roster right now and heads into the next 2 drafts with an extra 1st and 2nd should he need ammo to replace Hurts at QB if he doesnt produce the playoffs this season.

Propose Kyler Murray forced himself out of AZ. Could Philly be a landing spot? Lamar?

I don't think Kyler is an improvement over Hurts, at least not a big enough one to make up for Kyle's ego, desire for a huge contract and habit of wearing down by the end of a season.

I do think that Lamar is a potential target in a trade next year though if Hurts does not advance enough this season for the Eagles to commit to him as the QB this franchise will ride or die with in the coming years.

Howie is always good at everything except picking players in the draft. He also sometimes overrated his own players and re-signed them to bad extensions.

But if he starts nailing drafts watch out.
