i have seen it enough times to say its not always a death sentence.

colts won a SB with earl morrel
cassel went 11-5 (no playoffs on a tiebreaker thanks to the wildcat surprise)
98 broncos won a SB after bubby brister went 4-0 when elway was hurt
steve young stepped in for montana and went 3-0 in 89...they won a SB

those are off the top of my head, i am sure there are more...but yes, typically its a death sentence.

good call, on hostetler, i forgot about gaypornostache. Reich didnt play every playoff game, kelly came back for the AFCCG but gave way to reich again in the SB, and he was blown out badly and had a terrible game.

Yes, but without Reich, the Bills never make it to that championship game (AFC or SB). Also, in Reich's defense - everyone on the Bills had a bad game that SB.
