and that is the point i was making... you are offering future picks that won't hurt your current team... you would never trade your first round pick(even if you drafted after Gronk was picked), nor would you trade your 2nd round pick + another starter...
Conversely, why would anyone ever trade a healthy first round pick player for a future first rounder?
I'm serious, why would anyone do that? Give me ONE reason that makes the slightest but of sense, I dare you.

It's silly to even consider....

at this moment in time, i agree it would be horrible... But by week 7 it may not be the worst idea...

During tanking season a lot of things change......

But not when its a 26 year old were tallinbough.

There are dozens and dozens of players I'd be willing to trade next years 1st rounder for if I'm trying to win now. (For future reference to anyone that sees themselves out of contention prior to whatever the deadline ends up being.)

Thomas isn't as valueable to me right now as he normally would be. He and Reed both have Week 8 Byes and I have three Jags already.

ok I'll give you my 1 and 2 next year plus Juilous. You can trade that other TE for another one since he will just be a back up anyway once you have Julius. Im not affraid to over pay. Ask anyone.

I don't wan to force us to overpay foot. But I'm just not the ideal buyer for JTizzle. I think I'd end up cutting Reed, or somebody that I don't want to cut, to fill that one week hole.

Just wondering besides Gronk and Graham who like at TE? Maybe a three way trade could be worked ...

I wouldn't care about TE too much outside of those two. (I really don't like Graham all that much either without Brees.)

My third is prolly Ebron tbh. (Or Ertz, yeah, he's ahead of EDrops) Cuz I'm a homer at heart and he's young.

Trading Gronk for picks and another TE isn't gonna happen. Atleast not until I'm far enough back in the standings to lay down.

Wow @TREFF how did u get foot to take a guy who has cracked 1k receiving yards one time, on a running team, with younger receivers ahead of him,

And
Give you back a guy who still starts and a starting qb??

Nice trade sir

Well Treff had to drop a QB that was a starter ( Dalton) I was kind of bummed to see Dalton had the same bye week as AR.

Because I used Jedi mind tricks on The Foot....
I dunno, but I'm stoked to have my "too many Bills" problem solved and get a guy who, even though he was a late late pick here, he's likely still got a couple years with flex appeal to go.

And Kaps was my ideal backup to RW..if he finally tales that next step. .great, if not, no biggie
