The top 3 WRs had really strong claims. I suspect the NFL is putting 1 in each of the next 3 HoF classes. I don't want to crap on Steve Smith but it might be 15 years before he gets a look in, if ever. By the time Wayne and Holt have cleared Larry Fitzgerald will be up. Antonio Brown will have a stronger case, as will DeAndre Hopkins. After that Tyreek Hill is a lock. Who is Smith going to beat out?

I get the Andre Johnson reference, but not Hester.....

HE is the GOAT returner.....bar none...theres better tes and wrs that was listed that have not gotten in yet,but will.
You just cant leave out the GOAT at a position because you think a dime a dozen wr and maybe a top 15 te didnt......

Some Super Bowl trivia, Devin Hester is the only player to return an opening kickoff in the SB for a touchdown. Bears vs Colts 2006

That's gotta be worth something lol

Hester in before Holt is insane.

Holt has been a finalist for 5 straight years, and he still isn’t in. He has better numbers than many HOF WR’s from his era.

He did? Why is this the first time I’m hearing about this?

Not sure if serious... the announcers routinely said it in Chargers games. Given you were stuck watching two a year (one being always in San Diego) I'm shocked you never heard that. It gained even more attention when Lebron mentioned playing NFL.

Steve McMichael going in is about as silly as it gets.

I know he is sick and all. But most players are going to be sick at some point. They just dont get in when that happens.

And McMichael isnt even a fringe candidate. Literally only 3 pro bowl appearances.
