Wade is obviously not as great as Kobe. I think everyone know this, (career accomplishments, stats, nba achievements, defense, longevity, etc)...However, the fact that there's even a debate shows how great Wade really is. And it also show's how gutless Lebron was to have to run to a team with a top 3 nba player like Wade, along with Bosh, to cowardly chase a ring...

Fact is Lebron could never win a ring without Wade, or Bosh. No way.

this is stupid. DWade is my favorite player off all-time. I love DWade.

Kobe is better. I believe it is alot closer than most Laker fans think it is. I believe DWade is the only PG modern era (post Jordan) that can even be mentioned in the same breath as Kobe. Dwade shoots a higher % than Kobe, and is the best shot blocking guard the NBA has ever seen. But complete skill set and most importantly NBA career resume, you have to give the nod to Kobe. It's not a slight on DWade who is now a 3 time champion, a scoring champion, and finals MVP.. both are great.

Dwayne Wade has definitely surpassed Kobe. In fact, Kobe is DONE. Washed. You just don't come back 100% from a severe Achilles at his age. Wade is his dad. I suspect Wade may win another couple titles with Miami before he hangs them up. No doubt Pat Riley is scheming to get a legit big. Word.

Kobe is a great player. He can still be a good role player in any team even with his Iinjury.Kobes big mistake is doing too much. Wade seems to know how to pace himself throughout his career. Both are great players. I would say Wade and Kobe are about equal. They are both relentless and elevate their play even with injury.

I agree he is a 100x better teammate then Kobe and can adjust and give the reigns to Lebron. Kobe would kill himself before ge did that, he is just a selfish player like MJ. But it doesn't mean Wade is better.

I guess you missed the part where it said that he's been playing with Lebron for the past 2 1/2 seasons (at the time of the quote) and still picked Kobe. So it wasn't a "PC answer" because he wasn't comparing himself to Kobe, he was making a statement about the best player of his era. He could have easily chosen someone other than himself or Kobe!!

I did read it incorrectly. I think it was still PC because he also said Duncan was a GOAT. Same era more so than Lebron or himself. How can Duncan be a GOAT and Kobe be the best of his era at the same time? Hes counting rings. IMO anytime anyone does that they are being PC. Thats the only possible explanation.

I think Wade will go down as the 3rd best SG of all-time when his career is all said and done. Kobe's resume is just too strong and offensively is a better player then Wade. I still think that Wade's a better defender, but that's a totally different discussion.
