IF the Thunder never traded James Harden, and eventually faced the Warriors in the 2015 WCF, who do you think would have won? Note, this was the year the Warriors won the title.

I don't see how Westbrook and Harden function together on the court in this stage of their careers. GS is still better defensively, and they were just hitting on all cylinders. I still think GS would have been the better "team".

In a game of 3 on 3 though, gimme the OKC guys.

THIS.

Pretty sure if it was a game of 3 on 3, Thunder guys would win every time. The thing is that Klay has generally guarded both Westbrook and Harden pretty well over his career. Well about as well as you can really expect anyone to. He would only be able to guard one of them and Curry would be guarding either Westbrook or Harden, who would have a field day.

In a team setting, give me Steph, Klay and Draymond any day of the week. Their games are cohesive and make their teammates better, whereas Westbrook, Harden and KD in that setting are more isolation players.

I'm going with OKC, because GSW would still be too reliant on the 3, while Westbrook and Harden can get to the rim anytime they want. Also, Westbrook and Durant can defend from the 3 point line to the hoop. Durant's size would cause a lot of issues for GSW as well.

However, that is contingent on Harden and Westbrook learning to play together at least somewhat as well as the GSW guys.

I'd go OKC. The year they beat us, that lineup of Harden playing PG, with Russell and Durant playing off the ball was near unstoppable. They played cohesively because Harden was put into the role of setting KD/Russ up

I think for former OKC trio would win a 3 on 3 game, but, if you added 2 perfectly equal role players to either side and made it 5 on 5, I would bet in Golden State.

It is almost impossible to play quality help defense in 3 on 3, so the edge goes to the team that would not have to help as much. Ball movement and defense give GS the edge in 5 on 5.

I'm going with Golden State here. If Harden stays in OKC, Ibaka does not, which means no rim protection. GS I assume would still have Bogut to anchor the paint.

Sad thing is Westbrook, Durant, Harden and Curry, Thompson, Green have all been beaten by Lebron in the finals.

But only 3 of those guys have actually beaten Lebron as well.
