I would say that it's like throwing down a dunk on the retarded kid, but I don't feel guilty afterward.

LOL
Everything you can know about NN is contained in that post...even nonbaseball 'knowledge', like how people are afraid of success and other garbage. It's pure, distilled essence of Nolan. Be careful, keep away from small children, and do not handle if you are pregnant or have a heart condition.
Is Nolan really saying now that any young pitcher should be able to handle 300 innings? This is the same dude that whined for 50 posts about the Giants using Lincecum in "meaningless" games at the end of 2009. I even pointed out, at that time, the need to continue extending him to prevent the Verducci Effect should the Giants ever go deep in the playoffs.
Something is not right with that boy.

Actually, gp, you nailed it long ago. He's pure troll. No problem totally contradicting himself to create arguments, get a rise, be a dick.
CAL said:I even agreed with him (to an extent) in this thread, and he still came out guns blazing.
Dude disagrees for the sake of disagreeing. If you take his side in the argument, he will switch sides.
Exactly. He's not trying to communicate - that's for sure. He even contradicted himself in that thread, i.e. 'hitters were better despite what the stats say because they faced pitchers on higher mounds," but, of course, higher mounds don't help pitchers 'efficiency of effort' at all. Got it.
Yep. He came out immediately with the insults. But he never attacks first, right? Pure troll, who has found a home in ESPN's troll sanctuary.
I got a good chuckle out of that one, but had already given up any kind of desire to communicate in that thread, so I left that wall for someone else to pound upon.
