Dukes's David Cutcliffe turns down Tennessee

Cutcliffe was one of the longest-tenured & most popular assistant coaches at Tennessee & won 4 of 5 bowl games at Ole Miss & tied for the SEC West title in 2003, but was fired one year later following his only losing season at the school. I thought UT might have taken a look at him when they hired Butch Jones, but was surprised they would be interested in him at age 65.

Smart move by Cutcliff. No reason to leave a place where 4-5 wins a year is good for an insane asylum.

Guy has had like 3 winning seasons at Duke in 10 years.
