I just had a thought. What if Fleener is still on the board at our pick and the Colts want to trade up for him? Bleed them for their 2nd and 3rd?

Heck, if they offer next year's first, I'd jump on that lol

Moving from 30 to 33, hell yeah. Which means that with two 2nd round picks and two 3rd round picks at our disposal, we would have a lot of time in our hands (the night before the 33rd pick takes place) to think about what we want to do with those picks. Do we want to package one of the 2nds and one of the thirds to another team for that other team next year's 1st round pick? I would love that. The key here is that we would have a lot of time in our hands to think and negotiate thoroughly.

I can't see them doing it though because if I were in their shoes it's far better to play the odds that he drops to you and if he doesn't well you just go to the next man on the board.

But if they wanted to trade up with us than I'd be completely for it.

So far trading out of the first seems like our best option. But come draft day you never know what will happen and who could be there at your pick. Every yr somebody drops farther then projected or gets picked higher then expected.

Top needs:
WR
CB
S
DL
RG

if theres a GOOD trade offer to move down fine, or GOOD offer for a 1st next draft, fine. but generally speaking we're at a point where quality is more important.

we need those last few pieces to make a serious run NOW. they were able to hold the team together but they cant do it every year. plus, some of these key guys won't be in their prime 2-3 years from now.
