NFL Media's Daniel Jeremiah reports that there is "chatter" that the Washington Redskins like Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins.
Washington doesn't pick until 15th overall, so they will either need to move up or hope Haskins (6'3/213) falls as some expect. While this does make sense, it's fair to speculate that Washington is trying to leverage their love for Haskins against the Arizona Cardinals when it comes to Josh Rosen trade conversations. Jeremiah also reports that Haskins is either QB1 or QB2 on most team's boards, so it's just a matter of if the teams in the top-11 have him as best available or not.

I'd be curious if the Giants pas on him. But who do you guys want Haskins or Rosen?

No brainer, Haskins...In fact if Rosen ends up here, the Cardinals should compensate us for taking him! Something like this:

Arizona trades Josh Rosen and their third round pick to Washington with an apology!:D

I would like to know how everyone sees the overall draft playing out in terms of your predicted pre-draft grades?

1. Will there be more, less, or about the same amount of trades made in this one relative to last year's draft?

2. How much or less will our team be involved with your predicted activity level?

3. How much do you believe that this team improves with this draft?

4. And here's the toughie...Which team do you honestly believe wins this draft? (greatest projected improvement)

Considering our core WR group now, I'm not so sure. Butler is a beast and will start day 1 for any NFL team who drafts him.

1- I expect the worst of this draft meaning there will be one big trade and maybe a small one or two later. The big one will be a trade up for a QB because we are that stupid.

2- see 1.

3- I think we set ourselves back by pushing for flare.

4- The best draft will likely go to NE, well because they are NE. The biggest measurable improvement will come from SF, either NY, or GB.

Walter's new mick has a ton of quality at 46. Has us taking Haskins at 15.

Not sure you can afford to pass on Greedy Williams @46, especially with this most likely being Norman's last year and Dunbar's nerve damage issue.

Over Jay's dead body! Coach wants a true #1 WR so bad he can taste it.

After looking over a whole lot players in this draft, I've come to realize that this is a very weak class from probably the last couple of picks in the first round, down. To me this indicates a ton of trades from about picks 8 to 10 in the second round until the end of the draft. Of these, probably most will be seeking to move down or acquire more picks in next year's draft. If I had to characterize this draft, I would call it, a get younger year and not one that offers upgrades for most teams in the league as the talent pool compared to previous drafts falls well short in that regard.
