Do we pull an ATL and trade a ton of draft picks to get him ala Julio Jones?

Im not sure SF always surprises me in the draft. I like so many WRs in this draft I dont think we have to trade up to get one but it all matters who the front office really wants.

One thing I miss from Goldson is his 'in the air' ability. Seems all our DB's don't play the ball very well in the air ala Sherman.

I don't think goldson was that great at that either. I remember more than a few occasions him mistiming his jumps and guys getting huge gains from it. Need to find some height at the position. That is why chancellor is so effective in coverage. He is big enough to get to the ball vs the tall TE's and WR out there.

What if they start the first 3 rounds like this:

1st: Beckham Jr. WR LSU
2nd: Roberson or Purifoy CB's Fla
2nd: Buchannon S Wash St or Reynolds S Stan
3rd: Moncrief WR Ole Miss
3rd: Stork C Fla St
3rd: Easley DL Fla (Guessing they get this Comp pick for Goldson)

well if you look at it, we only lose next years first and maybe next years 4th in essence. they did a 1st, 2nd in that year and a 1st and 4th the next year.

we would be using a first to select a WR, have two seconds this year, if they want an additional third this year, we would still (hopefully) have two more this year, then next year, we would be without our 1st(hopefully 32?) and a fourth that I am sure they would find a way to recoup

so we would still have a 1st, 2nd, two 3rds this year

Moving up for Watkins is going to take some doing. He is going to be dynamic so I wouldn't hate it, but not sure if the Niners front office will do it. Is there a big enough drop off in talent/impact of going for him really early, or say waiting and going after a guy near where we got Reid last year?

Wide receivers are usually the red herrings of the NFL draft. Lesser GMs get distracted by them & fail to go after the real prizes.

If the Niners go WR in the first, Benjamin would be my preference
