1. For Jax's sake it better end up being Travis Hunter, because they gave up a shitload just to move up 3 spots.

2. I guess Cam Ward, if for no other reasons than being a QB who's also the 1st pick in the draft.

3. In the short term it could be Will Campbell or Mason Graham, but they're each joining a team with some future upside.

4. All 32 picks are pretty solid, so rather than name a particular player, I'll just say whoever suffers the worst and most career threatening injuries.

5. Yeah, I have to go with Dillon Gabriel as well. If he was Mr. Irrelevant, that would be one thing, but #94? Yikes.

6. If Josh Simmons is truly back 100%, he'll be the best value, as pre-injury he was considered the top LT in college football.

5. Teslaa WR
6. Jihad or Simmons. They're both top 10 talents in top organizations but likely 1 will bust

The point of this thread is like any other thread, just shit to talk about.
i understand that.

Shit gets heated around here, large part of the entertainment for many of us. IGGLOO invented internet sports trolling. Only real reason he's here.

This thread just begs the same question I've asked myself since 2013. Why is it that posters who like to post shock value and bait for a reaction always cry foul when volley is returned? Not intended for you battelyon, just the thread itself. Yes, talking football is the reason, but the finger pointers still cry the loudest. Complain about the very same thing they do to others.

Comedy Central thing about all internet sports opinions and begs the other question.

Why are there so many more Horse's Ass's than there are Horses?

I don't really think Hunter has to be the best player but I do think he has to be in the top 5. If Hunter just ends up a good CB like AJ Terrell or something then thats a win for Jacksonville because it would fill a big need with an actually good player in a draft that lacked high end CBs.

Giving up your 1st next year means you're missing out on being able to fix QB, LT, WR1, CB, or Edge. QB they have Lawrence. LT they have Walker Little who is locked up in a decent contract. WR1 is Brian Thomas. CB1 you'd imagine is Travis Hunter. Edge they have Josh Allen and Travon Walker.

I think its just as likely that the Browns screw up their drafting than the Jags lose the trade tbh.

That very well may be, but there's no getting around the obvious that the Jags gave up a boatload just to move up 3 spots. The picks they gave up in this draft should have sufficed. They should have never surrendered next year's 1st rounder. As I've already stated I thought Hunter was the most exciting player in the draft, but not THAT valuable to also give up your next year's 1st. And this will really come back and bite them in the ass if their record still ends up in the bottom 10 or worse, the bottom 5. That's despite whether or not the Browns muck up the pick.

I get it but the Jags have sucked for so long that they have draft capitol all over their roster. You have to push in your chips at some point. Trevor Lawrence will be 26 next year. Jags aren't a rebuilding team.

1. Abdul Carter
2. Cam Ward
3. Jeanty - he’s expected to do big things with no QB and no offensive line.
4. Also Jeanty just cause RB
5. Dillon Gabriel - not even draftable
6. Anyways Powell-Ryland pick 209 - had 16 sacks last year.
Good choices but really playing up that anti Browns thing next level with Gabriel. Hell, I was surprised when we took him but guy was pretty good in college and likely gets picked somewhere if we don't take him. 4 seems like no-brainer for reason you gave.

#2 and 3 might be Ward IMO.

It has nothing to do with Browns at all. That guy isn’t a pro QB. He’s Ian Book. He’s Will Howard. He’s a great college player with no pro potential. He doesn’t have a single attribute that you can point to and say this is a plus NFL level attribute. He isn’t athletic. He doesn’t have size. He has a subpar arm.

This wasn’t a 6th or 7th round pick. This was a fucking 3rd rounder. No fucking way. This was an absolute garbage pick.

I mean, most QBs taken late 3rd round or later are not pro QBs. He'd have been picked by one of those guys who really run NFL drafts (not the so-called experts or clueless fans of course) IMO.
