No, I agree, they should do the following:

- Trade the 1st overall pick with a team picking 2 through 10 and receive a NHL puck moving defenseman in the swap.

- Pick one of the top rated defensemen in the draft with their later 1st round pick.

theres the leafs rumour ... drop to 5 ... for Schenn (good luck with that if you get him) or for Gardiner (good luck getting him) and then drafting Dumba/Murray/Trouba

Has anyone seen Filip Forsberg play. What's the skinny on this kid. He's the top ranked European skater in the draft & considered a lock to go in the top 5.
