Worthy is a real boom or bust selection, but if he hits, that would be scary like Tyreek Hilly scary. He's not as well built as Hill and is more like a Desean Jackson type, but if he was Desean Jackson 2.0 with Mahomes, that would be frightening.
The most incredible deep threat to ever grace the field. Worthy doesn't have Desean's playing speed.

I think the Falcons GM trying to explain drafting Penix to Arthur Blank was the tensest moment last night. That man was fighting for his life!

"What the fuck are you doing Fontenot?"

"Well boss, lemme explain..."

"We have Kirk for now and Penix for the future" is what he's saying at the end.

The truth is that the QB position is important enough to throw multiple levels of resources at it.

But did he not tell Arthur because he didn't want word to get out? Seems like those convos should have happened previously, but when you have a boss that you don't trust you don't fill him in on everything, because he'll get in the way of your vision.

Randy Moss What GIF by Frito-Lay

Jackson doesnt even hold a candle to the guy who actually deserves that compliment.

Worthy is a bit of a projection as a deep threat because Texas had AD Mitchell. Teams have also generally taken the deep ball away from Mahomes.

He's getting up there in age, and that move is probably more about a vet presence for the QB than long term. I don't see Moore going anywhere unless somebody is willing to way over pay
Not too mention Allen is on a one year contract.....Alken has not finished a full season in 3 years.

Add Odunze to the mix,Allens career may get prolonged cause he wont be trotting out there every series......a little less playing time for him may be a good thing being he is gonna be 32 at tge behining of the season and 33 begining of 2025,making him expendable after tge 2024 season......

It was a no brainer.......

Like Saquon, Micah Parsons will have to endure some dark years in the backwaters of the NFL before being able to sign with Philly where he is destined and deeply desires to play.

Maybe they’re in the market for Aiyuk or Deebo?

Or even Higgins?

Idk. Could be their guy is one of the top receivers left? I like Coleman more than a few guys who already went.

I tend to think thats the way they are leaning, but wasnt Buffalo dumping contracts.....??

By the time Kirk’s deal ends Penix will be 28!

Another angle:

If Kirk proves healthy they can trade him and the other team will get a decent deal on the cap with no signing bonus. Free draft pick for Atlanta just for money.

Yeah that is a huge risk but probably what they are hoping will happen. Vs the guaranteed picks seems like a huge gamble but if it works he will look like a genius.

Bills working the draft like experts. Obviously they didn't want Worthy or Leggette, since they essentially traded those players to the Chiefs and Panthers. All the other WRs are still on the board as well as DeJean, Newton, JPJ, etc. All fit their big needs, and they were able to upgrade into the 3rd round and a late pick to the top of the 5th.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them trade down again as teams typically target the top of the 2nd to clean up guys that have slid, especially with all day Friday to work a trade.

I really think McConkey is in play, given he visited with the team multiple times leading up to the draft.
