Not gonna lie, I know Howie can cook but I am shocked. I have been reading all these draft guides and stuff, and I never in my wildest dreams would have thought we'd get both of these guys. I would have accepted Cooper Dejean at 22 overall going into this.

This could be a huge difference maker for the Eagles.

The Eagles should move up for Cooper DeJean. The secondary has been a problem for a few years. They band-aided it with Slay and other veterans. Time to fix it for good. The new scheme likes to use three safeties. Maddox always gets hurt and they only brought him back late in FA. DeJean solves a lot of problems.

It would cost both 2nds, but we'd get an early 3rd rounder back. Could still get a WR or LB there.

Dime a dozen anymore, and the wear and tear they simply don't last.

We get an Eddie George or a Derrick Henry every once in a while that are the full time physical back that you can feed for 6 to 8 years.

Is that the offense that wins Championships and Super Bowls? Nope.

Need about 3 or 4 RBs that can play RB by committee. And they all better damn well have the ability to pass block, or they are just a 3rd down back solely used for dump offs on 3rd down 4 to 5 times a game.
