The FO jaugernaut of Snisher intimated that they wanted to get much bigger and faster on both lines to compete in the NFCW. I hope Robinson fills that bill and they add Jackson tomorrow.

Yea Ice, Jackson and Yancey to name a few.

Yeah Jackson is the one I like, I also LOVE Richburg. At this rate the UCLA OG might be there too and he's pretty good as well.

Is Robinson going to start at RT next season and Barksdale is to the bench? Because then we need another OG... but we all think Robinson is just going to play OG? This is why I don't understand the move! He wouldn't've been the 1st OT in other classes and I can't justify playing him at OG when we picked him #2 :gaah: :bawling:

Sammy Watkins or a OG / project OT?
Hahahahaha. We can find an OG to run block.

It's gonna be "the Oline shuffle in STL" as usual.

U don't take a guard or project OT at #2 overall.

Mayock and Marshall have stated that Barksdale has solidified his RT spot. If Long is not ready, Robinson will be slotted at LT and Jones will move into LG. If Jackson shows up tomorrow, Jones will move into center with Jackson moving into LG. The Line would then open the season from L-R: Robinson, Jackson, Jones, Saffold, Barksdale. On paper, we got real big real fast. Almost smashmouth.

Damn, we need to draft Jimmie Ward, and we need to do it ASAP! I think we should trade up and make the play. Ward is the last safety that can be a starter right away!

But what about when Long plays? He's our best linemen, he's the vet, the pro-bowler, the leader.

You are right SJ. You don't take OG at number two overall. They could have traded down a few and still got Robinson. Unfortunately, the word is there were no trade partners.

I have this sense that Long ain't going to be ready come the season opener. I think his knee is going to take longer than expected. He may have to be relegated to back-up until he is fully healed.

The logic is that Robinson is really, really young. The OG spot is just the beginning. Its just that Id be stunned if he was better on the left side than the right and RT at #2 is still pretty...meh.

Mack would've been an instant starter on defense... Someone who could keep these NFCW QBs from running everywhere.

We can get a 4-3 LB in round 2. We just shouldn't unless there isn't a secondary player of similar value

Ever since O Pace was taken number one overall, the Rams have been futzin' around in the top ten picks of the draft. They continue to either over-thing the draft or under-think it. And they simply get run over by the train. I have seen this more often than not. They did it with Jeffries and they probably did with Watkins this year and like I said before the draft, if they didn't get it right, we will be right back here next year hoping again.

The best Rams picks have been the ones that haven't required much thought. Jackson, Quinn, Ogletree, etc. Those seemed like slam dunks at the time and didnt require explanation. Donald feels like that, too.
