Assuming Clowney goes #1 regardless of what team is picking there, here are my 2 scenarios.
What I think the Rams will do
1) trade down or draft Robinson/Matthews at #2 and at #13 trade down or draft Dix
What I would like to see them do
1) trade down or draft Mack at #2 and at #13 trade down or draft Gilbert/Dix/Prior
If they feel Long will be ready by the start of the season or shortly thereafter, then an OT isn't necessarily needed unless they feel an upgrade for Barksdale is needed. OG is a bigger need and there will be plenty in round 2. Mack makes the front 7 scary and Gilbert solidifies the CB corp. Get an OG in the 2nd ( Jackson ) and S in the 3rd ( Bailey ) and you have the makings of a great draft.

Drafting Robinson will: Allow the Rams to run the ball and score at the end of drives and make a bigger and healthy Bradford a game manager and will put 1. Rams into the playoffs this year or next 
2. Punch the Seahawks, 49ers and Cardinals in the mouth twice each season
3. Fill up the dome with screamers with Rams jerseys on
and 4. Have St Louis up the ante and build a state of the art stadium for even a Super Bowl game in the future.
I grew up watching the Rams in LA, it is St Louis now and that is fine with me.
Two picks in the 1st round, can't help but get better no matter who gets picks. I will root for all drafted no matter what.
