And when he's cooled down too. Hope he picks it back up in the PCL. The question is, who is he replacing?

Parker is one rehab. They cannot just replace him with someone else. He essentially creates an extra roster spot. However, I wonder if the rules have changed for AAA because it seems the RiverCats have been carrying 26 to 27 players this whole month (not counting rehab players).Jarrett Parker, who will be called up on Wednesday (the final possible day)
Lots of promotions the last couple days. They must have targeted this week as the reshuffle date. Finally, Aramis Garcia has been promoted to AA.
I've only seen Heathcott, Garrett Williams and now Garcia. Are there others that I've missed?Lots of promotions the last couple days. They must have targeted this week as the reshuffle date.
Is that all? I haven't tracked them, but I thought I have seen a lot of notifications. Maybe not...I've only seen Heathcott, Garrett Williams and now Garcia. Are there others that I've missed?
I looked around and this is the movement that has happened in the last week (lot more demotions, including two guys from Sacramento all the way to Salem so that Health Slatton can be on the AAA roster):Is that all? Apparently, the Jack Conlon signing fell through, and he is now fielding offers from approx 20 teams. It does not sound like he failed the physical, but just that he is still available.
This is the second time in recent memory that something like this has happened to the Giants. WTF? It looks REAL bad on the org.
Are you thinking about the international player for whom the Giants did not sign a couple of years ago (what was that player's name again)? I thought that issue had more to do with the player having a last minute change of heart about the amount and wanted to find someone who would give him more money.Apparently, the Jack Conlon signing fell through, and he is now fielding offers from approx 20 teams. Ramos' hit streak came to an end yesterday.
Santos made his Giants debut yesterday for their DSL team. He went 4 innings with 6 hits, 1 walk, 5 K and 1 ER. This kid is WAY off, but it is nice to see him have a somewhat successful debut. Realistically, though, he would hardly rate on a prospect list at this point. If he hadn't just come over in a trade, he would not be radar-worthy, I don't think.

In regards to protection, there's a few names that will need the Giants seriously thinking about shielding form the Rule 5. They are:Tuesday 8/1
Sam Coonrod 1.0-2-3-3-2-2. Coonrod's turn would have been tomorrow (today), so this is an interesting move. It's possible they're limiting his innings, but given this is his 3rd full season I doubt it. It's possible too that they didn't like what they saw out of the rotation and will have him stay in the Pen going forward (I think his stuff plays up in the Pen anyway, where he can ramp up his fastball and he doesn't really have a reliable 2nd pitch yet). Needs to be added to the 40-man roster this winter so they are probably preparing for that.
The kid from Cuba a couple years ago. Martinez? He ended up signing with the Cubs. Why does this make the Giants look bad? And who was the other, I don't recall.
