Seems like the first FBS school to likely not have a season this year
Florida is looking at scheduling St. Thomas Aquinas or Edgewater as replacements for NMSU, citing covid-19 in their petition to the NCAA to allow the opponent and count the game's outcome towards bowl eligibility.
Can u imagine the protests the Gov would get then? People were mad for not opening up fast enough.. Now you take their Football? From the Lions down to pee wee? If Michigan wasn't already a financial mess...The real thing that throws a wrench in everything will be the first P5 school in a state where the Gov shuts it down. If Michigan's Gov shuts down football, it will take out 5 FBS schools, two P5 schools. California is even more impactful.

CA can go fuck itself.. nobody cares. Feel bad for SC fans but thats the breaks I suppose
St. John's University in Minnesota might still be D3 this year, but they're heading towards D1. Florida could open with them

That's probably exactly what they are doing and what the NCAA anticipated when they said they would all 2 FCS games count towards bowl eligibility.Florida is looking at scheduling St. Thomas Aquinas or Edgewater as replacements for NMSU, citing covid-19 in their petition to the NCAA to allow the opponent and count the game's outcome towards bowl eligibility.
