Seems like the first FBS school to likely not have a season this year

Florida is looking at scheduling St. Thomas Aquinas or Edgewater as replacements for NMSU, citing covid-19 in their petition to the NCAA to allow the opponent and count the game's outcome towards bowl eligibility.

The real thing that throws a wrench in everything will be the first P5 school in a state where the Gov shuts it down. If Michigan's Gov shuts down football, it will take out 5 FBS schools, two P5 schools. California is even more impactful.

St. John's University in Minnesota might still be D3 this year, but they're heading towards D1. Florida could open with them

Can u imagine the protests the Gov would get then? People were mad for not opening up fast enough.. Now you take their Football? From the Lions down to pee wee? If Michigan wasn't already a financial mess...

CA can go fuck itself.. nobody cares. Feel bad for SC fans but thats the breaks I suppose

Amen, brother! That's the one state where we refuse to do any projects. I had to go to court in CA three times over the past 15 years because of flakes trying to pull stuff where they knew better and each time we fought like hell to get the cases moved to Federal court where we buried their ass. Winning is nice but the hassle just isn't worth it. Now I get phone calls every week asking me to please, please look at deals in CA and I flat refuse and tell them why: the communist sumbitches running that state ruined it. College football is next.

Florida needs to replace an opponent for 11/21/2020. St. Thomas Aquinas and Edgewater are top high school teams in the state of Florida. NMSU was grist for the home game attendance - November fluff before their season ending game with FSU.

Oh shit! You're about to get a bunch of facepalms and responses from panty-waste dipshits disagreeing that there is an agenda in play.

Good for them. Everyone ought to be protesting re-closings.

Colorado Gov is on the verge of doing this again also.

yep, citizens and businesses need to band together wherever re-closings are being implemented. they (politicians) seem to always forget they work for us.

No state should be allowed to close unless they can provide a mask to everyone who is required to wear one and virus tests results are provided within 2 days after testing. Period. I'm all for letting people make their own decisions within some reasonable public health guidelines. The same should be required of the city and state governments.

That's probably exactly what they are doing and what the NCAA anticipated when they said they would all 2 FCS games count towards bowl eligibility.

Not gonna lie.. my trip to Austin then Dallas changed my outlook. Life doesn't stop, I wore my mask and kept my distance in public. I ate outside and drank outside with my friends and families. Now I'm back in VA and a housebody except when it comes to yardwork, shopping and running the community trails.
