Rates and requirements vary by client and agency, but the initial ask of as much as $80 to reach 1,000 viewers — roughly twice what broadcast TV typically charged for NFL games — is now closer to $60. This means the price for a 30-second spot has dropped from about $700,000 to about $500,000, Schwartz saidI wonder how much MORE the had to pay for an ad compared to regular network tv

To be fair, it was intelligent of Amazon to pick up the NFL, considering how younger people are more inclined to stream on a computer, laptop or phone as opposed to broadcast TV.
